New Electoral Act Review

ONE LEADER, ONE MOVEMENT

The time is now.

South Africans, how long do we aim to put all our hopes to politicians? 26 years, gone down the drain and our country is falling hard. How long are we standing on the sidelines and let political parties play the game of arguments and no action year by year?
I, as a citizen of this country, I am tired, tired of the divisions, the endless political squabbles and rallies that do nothing but leave you poor again tomorrow. Are you not fed up? Are you not tired of being invisible but visible during elections?
The era of political parties has to come to an end, the system that only caters for you when you are wearing a green and yellow outfit or a red outfit or a blue outfit has to fall with its leaders. I am tired of living in a country where you only benefit from its resources because you are a “comrade”, a country where you can get a job because you fall under a political party, or a country where you can get food parcels when you are a known member of a political organization. We complain a lot about being systematically divided by the apartheid government but we are too blind when we have to confront the current democratic system about the same divisions caused by the political pandemic.

Do we need uniforms so that we can be a developing country? I don’t think so, because all these political parties seem to be opposing one thing! Another political party. The Anti-Political movement aims to remove the problem, the plague, the cause, which is politicians who invest more time on defending a party than doing their jobs to build a country. With the Current Electoral Act declared as unconstitutional, South Africans have to fight to make sure that the new Act that allows independent citizen in this country to be able to contest in elections without having to join or lead political parties. This country needs a leader of the people of South Africa as a whole, not leaders of certain people belonging to a uniform.
In this country we still face a problem of people who are afraid of change, who will kill and die before accepting facts that the vision of the ANC died a long time ago and we do not owe the current politicians anything, the ANC that you followed and led you out of the Apartheid regime is not the ANC of today, the ANC of Nelson R. Mandela, Is not the ANC of that leads you today. People need to learn to walk alone and stop holding to the corpses and fragments of the past.
One leader, one movement.

The country does not need a new political party, it needs a leader, someone who will put the needs of the country before the needs of his fellow uniforms. The funds that are wasted to enrich the lives of politicians can make a great impact in developing the country and funding sectors that will help build this nation to its greatness, the unnecessary renovations and new fancy cars for ministers can all be scrapped away and those funds can be allocated to useful developments.
South Africa has great potential to be a leading country in Africa, but first we must cleanse ourselves of politicians. Leading the country and being in charge of municipalities shouldn’t be a “get rich quick scheme”, this is a job, a job where you earn when you have worked, and not a chance to get pampered and live like a king, the gravy train has to burn and burn to ashes.
The country needs a leader not uniforms, we need a leader for all South Africans.
